USA versus CANADA Charity Golf Tournament
TORONTO 2006
The Toronto Haider Cup Committee (THCC) is proud and honoured to host the sixth Haider Cup matches. The committee consisting of Sibthain Akbar, Mohez Kamalia, Shafiq Ebrahim, Imtiyaz Kara and myself would like to extend a warm welcome to all those that will be participating in this years tournament. As your hosts, we will do our utmost to make the event as memorable as past tournaments held in other cities.
The dates of the sixth Haider Cup matches will be as follows:
Day 1 (Scramble) – Saturday July 1, 2006 Day 2 (Better Ball) – Sunday July 2, 2006 Day 3 (Singles) – Monday July 3, 2006
All the matches will be played at the Angus Glen Golf Club (www.angusglen.com) on their north and south courses. The matches on the first and third day will be played on the south course, while the matches on the second day will be played on the north course. Angus Glen is home to the 2007 PGA’s Bell Canadian Open.
The fee for this year’s Haider Cup is set at $290US or $330CAN. Each side should endeavour to field a team of 24 players.
