TOURNAMENT RULES

USGA Rules govern all play, except:

• For a ball hit out of bounds, a provisional will not be hit. Instead, the participant and his playing partners will determine the spot the ball entered out of bounds and drop a ball within two club lengths from the closest point of relief, no closer to the hole, from the spot determined.

• The same rule applies to a ball hit into a forest or forest like area, if the ball cannot be found after a three minute search.

• Proper golf attire required.

• All players who participate in any way with the tournament assume all risks and liabilities; and hold the tournament, tournament organizers, and any tournament representative harmless from loss or damage to personal property or injury.

Tournament Pairings

• The lowest 1/3 of handicapped players from each country will be placed in Tier 1. The remaining players will be placed Tier 2.

• Tier 1 players will play against Tier 1 players of opponent team, Tier 2 players will play against Tier 2 players of opponent team.

• Pairings of the matches will be strictly on a blind basis by the respective captains (like Ryder Cup).

• Maximum handicap a player can play is 28. Any player possessing a handicap of over 28 shall play 28.
